Oxana Sunnyday is an artistic-photographer living in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Dusseldorf (Germany). She was born in the former Soviet Union and immigrated with 18 to Germany. Oxana Sunnyday studied space concepts at the art academy (HfBK) in Dresden and photography in Leipzig (HGB).  Her work is an expressive interplay of signs of today’s world, traces of days gone by, historical and modern icons. Sunnyday’s multi-layered work embodies an era of inundation by pictures, combined with the cultural memory. Both Oxana Sunnyday’s artistic and contractual work are on display in numerous public and private collections and have received several prestigious awards.
