Projekt Russia / Series „The world, the flesh, the devil, the soul“

The works from the ongoing project “The world, the flesh, the devil, the soul” have been created in various places around the world and represent extensive snap shots of a current moment  from my  perception of a certain place. The works are a kind of subjective  „QR codes“ of the places, that I visited and included into my emotional memory. These are impressions, that have remained in me in the form of mixed images, that I share through my collages with the outside world.

In this section are works which have been created in Russia mainly during my scholarship at the Multimedia Art Museum and House of Photography in Moscow. The collages combine different details, that I discovered in the city, like advertising and street art, mixed with parts of icons and Soviet propaganda.
